Question Time
On Thursday 24th November, the club is holding a “Question Time” evening when a panel of distinguished Burns experts, chaired by past president Peter Kormylo, will take questions on a Burns theme from the audience. The event is open to all and a warm welcome will be extended to all members and friends.
Why don’t you come along with some questions and see if you can “stump” the experts. The proceedings start at 7.00pm for 7.30pm and a lively and possibly controversial night is in prospect.
Panel members include Jim Scott, Les Byers from the club and Peter Westwood, former editor of the Burns Chronicle. Also appearing are Betty Haining from Dumfries Ladies Burns Club No. 1, John Haining from Paisley, a past president of the WRBF and Cameron Goodall from Edinburgh.
This is the first time the club has staged a “Question Time”. It should be an interesting and thought provoking night and your support would be much appreciated
