To Celebrate ‘The Homecoming’ the Howff Club has purchased an original and rather beautiful painting of the walk at Ellisland Farm painted by Howff Club member and well known local artist and poet John Clark. The Original painting will be on display in the club rooms and at various events which the club are organising during 2009 and at some exhibitions on Burns themes.

John has produced a short limited run print from the original shown above the prints can be viewed with others at Johns website - www.landscapesgallery.co.uk - or from the gallery, Landscapes Gallery, 6 Brooke Street, Dumfries.

Only 500 prints are being printed which are approximately 16ins x 18 ins when framed.  Prints can be purchased un-framed,  or framed in custom frame or ‘Landscape Gallery’ Mahogany frame direct from the the gallery or from            www.landscapesgallery.co.uk

To assist with club funds John has offered special terms to the club for the purchase of the original painting. He is also offering members of the Howff special terms on the high quality limited edition prints.

A new club Tie has been commissioned to celebrate the Homecoming

With assistance of past president David Miller the club has produce a special tie featuring the Globe Inn Close as a silhouette background with an embroidered Bards head with burns Howff Club 112 round it.

Ties are available in dark blue or maroon
